Student Council Elections
Student Council elections are taking place tomorrow morning in the theatre. Periods 1 to 3 for S1 to S3 and Senior students will vote during tutor time. You should bring your class down to the theatre at the allocated time to vote. Present members of the Student Council will be helping to prepare and organise the elections.

Calling all Swimmers!
The West Lothian Schools Swimming Championships are on Sunday 6th November, here at Deans Community High School.
Students may select a maximum of 4 events to compete in (only 2 of these can be 100m). Any interested students must see Miss Davey by next Friday (30 Sept.) with their events and times.

The Wiz - Tickets Now On Sale
Deans Community High School presents The Wiz on Tuesday 11 - Thursday 13 October at 7pm in the Theatre. Tickets are on sale at reception - £5 and £4 (concessions).

Student Council Elections
Student Council elections are due to take place on Thursday 29 September. This will be held in the theatre periods 1 to 3 for BGE Year groups and during tutor time for S4, S5 and S6 students.

John Begbie from West Lothian College came along to Deans to present Stewart Bruce with a BCS Computing Award, after he successfully completed a West Lothian College course recently.
John said he was really pleased with Stewart's attendance on the course, and said, "after a few weeks on the course, Stewart was happy to help others in the class".

Build a Business in a Day Success
S2 Business students enjoyed a trip to Edinburgh Napier University to compete against 12 other schools in the Build a Business in a Day workshop. Students were given a brief in which they were to decide to create an innovative food/drink/festival business.
