Handball Team Retain West Lothian Shield

Congratulations to our S3/4 handball team who retained the West Lothian handball shield against some tough opposition in the 'A' finals.  The team won every game in the round robin against St Margaret's, Linlithgow and St Kentigern's. Following this, they were in the 1st v 2nd playoff against St Margaret's to decide the overall champions.  In the end the Dean's team won comfortably with some superb individual performances. 5 a Side Football Tournament - Tuesdays

There will be a weekly 5 a side football tournament taking place every Tuesday after school until 4.45pm. Rotary Young Musician - Rebecca Wins Area Final

Last night Rebecca Pennykid competed in the Area Final for the Rotary Club Young Musician of the Year competition after winning the local heats in January. It was a packed night of vocalist and instrumentalists of a very high standard. WL Pipe Band Recruiting Tenor Drummers

Rotary Young Musician of the Year

Rebecca Pennykid (voice), Gundega Kadekovska (guitar) and Ashleigh Black (trumpet) - all in S6, competed in the first round of the Rotary Young Musician of the Year competition at Heriot Watt University. All three performed very well and were a credit to the school.
