Rotary Young Musician of the Year

S5 students Enya Steinmann (Clarinet), Ben Scott (Bagpipes) and Rebecca Pennykid (Voice) all competed in the Regional Heats for the Rotary Young Musician of the Year at Heriot Watt University. There were 19 competitors from 6 different schools who took part and the standard was incredible with some fabulous young musicians showcasing their talent. National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland

The Travelling Gallery is Coming to Deans

The Travelling Gallery, a mobile art exhibition housed in a specially converted coach, is coming to Deans on Tuesday 22 March to give students the opportunity to experience a new exhibition called Here Comes Everybody by Kennard Phillips. Students Enjoy Russian Bolshoi Theatre Concert

  Music students from S1 - S4 were treated to a concert by touring professional musicians from the Russian Bolshoi Theatre. Soprano singer Oxana Lesichaya was accompanied by the award winning concert pianist Dmitry Onishchenko. Dmitry and Oxana performed a variety of songs from classical music to musical theatre, followed by a question and answer session. Congratulations to the S3 Netball Team

  Our S3 netball team competed in the first round of the West Lothian Schools Netball Championships on Friday afternoon at St Margarets. They were AMAZING!  The scores were as follows: Deans 8 JYHS 0, Deans 4 Inveralmond 1, Deans 5 Bathgate 1, Deans 6 St Margarets 1.
