Netball Team Win Through to Finals
On Friday our netball team won every single game to qualify for the finals of the West Lothian championships where they will face Armadale, Linlithgow and Bathgate. They won every game by at least 4 baskets.

Sportathon 2015 - Well done to Everyone Involved!
Sportathon 2015 has commenced! Good luck to all the students and staff taking part tonight. 105 students in school from 8pm-8am to participate in the Sportathon. Senior Wind Band Win Gold Plus at Perth
At 8.30 on Sunday morning (yes, that's right, SUNDAY MORNING), our 40 intrepid Senior Wind Band members, Mrs Gordon and Ms Riddell made the journey to Perth Concert Hall to participate in the finals of the Scottish Concert Band Festival. S2 Students Win Best Team at go4SET
Congratulations to S2 students, Sebastian Lindl, Craig Patrick, Taylor Shaw, Ryan Duckworth and Ewan Farr, who recently competed in the East of Scotland, EDT go4SET competition at Heriot-Watt University. Deans Double - S1/2 Team Win 2nd National Title
Congratulations to the S1/2 Handball Team who won the national title at Ravenscraig Sports Centre! This means the team have now won the trophy two years in a row which is a brilliant achievement.

Team Apex to represent Scotland in Singapore
The most recent stage of the F1 in Schools challenge saw both Team Apex and Vortex competing at the F1 in Schools UK finals last Thursday and Friday, which were part of this year's Big Bang Fair which is held at the Birmingham NEC. Giant Heptathlon Regional Winners
Huge congratulations to our S1/S2 Giant Heptathlon team who won the regional final at Meadowbank Stadium, this now means that they have qualified for the the National Final and will be representing the East of Scotland at the Glasgow Emirates Arena! Deans Team Win National Handball Finals
The S3/4 handball team finished in 1st place at the national championships on Friday after a close final game against Kelvinside Academy from Glasgow. The team won the tense finale by just the one goal scored by Rogerio Carimo to make it 5-4.

Senior Team Finish Third in Handball Finals
The S5/6 handball team finished in 3rd place at the recent national finals held at Ravenscraig Sports Facility in Motherwell. The team played well throughout the day but were frustrated by excellent goalkeeping from opposition teams on a number of occasions.

S4 Physics Students Enjoy Space Talk
Our S4 Physics students (along with a handful of S5/6 students) visited the Royal Society of Edinburgh to hear a talk from Nasa Chief Scientist, Dr Ellen Stofan.
NASA Chief Scientist, Dr Ellen Stofan, visited the RSE to deliver a talk about space to over 100 school pupils from Edinburgh, Livingston, Dunfermline and Monifieth.

S1 & 2 Trans World Soccer Trip
A group of thirty seven S1 and 2 students recently went on a two day trip run by Trans World Soccer. On day one, they were treated to Manchester City vs Hull City at the Etihad as well as 9-a-side matches against local opposition and a post-match press conference!
