Monday - Thursday from 8.00am - 4.30pm
Friday from 8.00am - 1.15pm (closed for break 10.25-10.40am)

What's in the Libary for you?
Approx. 10,000 books (Fiction, Information and Reference), three daily newspapers, one weekly newspaper, selection of periodicals, project packs, talking books.
The library has laptop computers which are available via a bookable system.
The Careers Library is based within the Main Library. The Careers Officers are in school several times a week and also run a weekly drop-in lunchtime clinic.
During the school day the Library is booked by classes. Smaller groups of students are allowed to collect books to take back to class. Each Library member can borrow three books. The loan period is three weeks and loan renewals are available upon application.
The Staff Library is housed in the Library Resource Centre.
The Library has a good selection of Past Papers, Study Guides and Revision Aids all of which are available for Short Term Loan.

The Library holds the Deans Diary which is a bound collection of newspaper cuttings charting the school’s history back to the day the school opened in 1978.
Resource Assistants are students who are recruited to help in the Library thereby enabling them to develop skills under Curriculum for Excellence.

All these skills and much more including team work, interview techniques, information skills helps them to work towards being more Responsible Citizens.
