Customer Service Excellence Award
Customer Service Excellence now replaces Charter Mark, the previous standard for customer service promoted by the Cabinet Office. Not only was Deans Community High School the first school within West Lothian to meet this improved standard but the school achieved five best practice awards now known as compliance plus, en route to achieving the award.

Learn Direct Scotland gives Deans Top Rating
Deans Community High School is currently the only branded learning centre within West Lothian Council for LearnDirect Scotland. The school helps people to carry on learning throughout their lives as it offers different ways of learning that are often more informal and flexible than traditional environments. Deans encourages people from different backgrounds to find a way back into learning. The school recently had a Quality Enhancement and Development (QED) visit from LearnDirect Scotland. This focussed on process and practices in:

In all ten areas focussed on, Deans scored a 1, which is the highest possible rating.
